We need support for all of the cyber postings listed in Montreal, so specifically Vulnerability Management, Identity Management, SIEM and general Cyber. Currently we have 7 postings up but we will need to hire about 16 individuals to start by January.

Cyber Security – Senior Consultant

Our Montreal practice is growing and we have an opportunity for a new Senior Consultant to join our talented team! As a Senior Consultant you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of talented consultants on a variety of client engagements which may include the following activities:

Cultivate relationships with clients and share your knowledge while leveraging prevalent methodologies

Assess and implement security solutions for clients

Participate in the development and delivery of training programs to clients

Work with security vendors to understand their solution offerings and advise clients on appropriate technologies

Conduct research to expand your knowledge on the latest security technologies and standards, as well as the threat and vulnerability landscape

Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services

Review security-related events, assessing risk and validity, as well as reporting

Analyze network traffic to assist in generating new attack signatures

Analyze log, perform forensic, and malware analysis, or other IR-related activities, as needed

Identity Management – Consultant

As a Consultant you will:

Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and developing solutions
Author presentations and present findings to clients
Supervise junior staff and manage parts of client engagements

Qualifications:

Technical Skills :

Experience with a broad range of web based technologies including Web Servers, Portals, and Web Application Servers.
Knowledge of security frameworks and architectures
Knowledge of one or more server platforms (UNIX, Windows, Linux)
Experience of working in a project team, following a formal project management methodology (e.g. SDLC)
LDAP directory services administration or deployment experience is an asset
Experience with J2EE development frameworks is an asset
Experience with at least one of the following Identity and Access Management solutions: CA, Oracle, IBM, SailPoint, ForgeRock
General Consulting Skills:

Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials
Post graduate degree and/or a professional designation are an asset

Manager, Vulnerability Management

We are currently looking for a Security Manager in Vulnerability Management for our Enterprise Risk Services (ERS) division to work in our Montreal office.

Your sense of client service as well as your technical skills in information technology (IT) security will enable you to assist our clients in better achieving their IT security and risk management objectives. You will develop your technical skills, notably in the areas of application and infrastructure security and in vulnerability management.

You will have the opportunity to work with organizations which have significant information security challenges related to their business objectives. You will be able to work on analyzing business risks and to improve your skills as a business advisor.

Qualifications:

Possess 6 to 8 years of experience in IT security with significant experience in vulnerability management including the execution of intrusion tests targeting infrastructures and applications.

Hold a Bachelor’s or a Master degree in IT (specialization in IT security is an asset)

Have a keen interest in information technology, business processes and IT security

Knowledge of common network technologies, protocols and attacks

Knowledge of operating systems (UNIX/Linux and Solaris, Windows) and of database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)

Knowledge in web technologies (Java, PHP, ASP.NET, AJAX, etc.) and application security techniques and challenges

Knowledge of the OWASP and OSSTMM methodologies

Holding the CEH or related penetration testing certification (eg. GPEN) is an asset

Possess or have the intention to complete training for the CISSP certification;

SIEM / Cyber Security – Sr Consultant

As a Senior Consultant you will:

Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and interviewing key personnel
Assist with the development of recommendations and presentations for client engagements as well as participate in the elaboration of project strategies and work processes
Participate in client presentations
Identify issues and define symptoms
Prioritize your objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting
Qualifications:

Possess 2 to 6 years of experience in IT, either in security, telecommunications or infrastructure;
Hold a Bachelor’s or a Master degree in IT, or equivalent experience;
Interest in technology, business processes and information security;
Professional experience in a SOC context (in an operational or implementation role)
Knowledge of risk management
Possesses integration management skills
Has a basic understanding of security architecture
Excellent communication in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of French and Spanish will be an advantage.
Knowledge of SIEM solutions like HP ArcSight, IBM QRadar, Splunk, RSA enVision, etc.
Knowledge of security solutions like antiviruses, antispam, IDS/IPS, DLP, proxies, vulnerability management, etc;
Knowledge of operating systems (UNIX/Linux, Windows), of database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, etc.) or telecommunications (router, hub, firewall, etc.);
Possesses or has the intention to complete the training leading to the acquisition of the CISSP designation;
Maintain excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrate an ability to work effectively as part of a team;
