Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working on Enterprise Solution Architecture, Design and Development of large scale enterprise projects/products
  • Define, track and document the high level and low level technical design that incorporates best designing practices
  • Responsible for bringing in high performance, high availability and scalability of solution and product implementation
  • Evaluate and recommend industry standard third party tools
  • Interface with other teams in order to clarify and communicate the technical design details and architectural components
  • Maintaining knowledge of cutting-edge technologies and provide input for training and training materials
  • Be a part in building and developing a Center of Excellence for Java based enterprise solutions
  • Participate in presales demos and presentations whenever required
  • Be a part in achieving the company’s technical vision and contributing to all aspects of the company’s technology development

Critical Qualifications/Competencies

  • 4 to 5 years experience in all aspects and phases of the SDLC for enterprise applications
  • At least 4 – 5 years of experience in working with Middleware, Business process engines, workflow automation systems, IBM BPM Telecom Pack / Oracle AIA / SOA solutions
  • Certifications: IBM SOA Solution Designer Certification / Oracle AIA Certified Implementation Specialist
  • Delivery style using Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodology

Technical Skills

  • Application development and integration J2EE, Spring
  • Web and windows services development
  • Java MQ, IBM MQ, Oracle Tuxedo MQ
  • InfoSphere, WebSphere, Apache and Tomcat
  • Database Oracle 11g, DB2, MySql
  • Shell scripting
  • XML, XSD, XSLT and Xpath
  • Knowledge in automated Packaging, Deployment, Release and Version management
  • Experience with ALM, automated release management using SVN, Maven and GitHub

Design Skills

  • Strong experience in OOAD with UML modeling
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns (e.g. SOA, MVC, Distributed, Component)
  • Experience in transaction processing best practices and architecture
  • Messaging system architecture (JMS to JMS, JMS to non messaging)
  • MS and IBM, Oracle Security (SSL, HTTPS, Kerberos, SSO, Tokens)
  • Experience in using RAD, Rational Rose suite, ERWin

Additional Skills

  • Knowledge of Redhat Linux, Ubuntu
  • Open source development experience
  • Good organizational abilities, oral/written communications and interpersonal skills
